Fairwinds - Ivey Ranch is an Independent and Assisted Living community located several miles inland from the southern California coast, east of the City of Oceanside. The mission style exterior is a familiar element in the neighborhood and the region, and the comfortable interiors reflect the California lifestyle. Building massing and modulation were closely controlled to be compatible with the neighborhood, even though the structure hides a major telecommunications site hidden within its roof-top cupola.
While the residents of the community are primarily independent and active, Assisted Living services are offered throughout the building to residents who desire them. The two and three story building offers restaurant-style dining, fitness center, a computer lab, salon, a terrace café and activity spaces. Resident living units are large with a high percentage of two-bedroom apartments, with walk-in closets and large kitchens.
